Logo Animation · Figure Blueprint
Collaborating closely with art directors and the Figure team, I was responsible for bringing their logo to life through motion in After Effects.
Much like the rest of the reveal trailer, the final animation aims to articulate the design principles of Figure’s future humanoid robot — balance, precision of engineering, and experimentation.
The logo bookends the trailer — illuminating at the start and integrating into the robot’s boot-up sequence at the end.
Some common thematic threads between the motion variations included the idea of human footsteps and progress, and spiralling DNA strands.

During initial stages of exploration, we leaned more towards an organic feel for the motion of the Figure logo. This was an iterative and experimental process.
